Internationally acclaimed opera singer Andrea Rost will start her course in the 2021/22 academic year at University of Szeged’s Bartók Béla Faculty of Arts, Department for Voice.

“It is a great pleasure and a challenge to teach at a university where many internationally celebrated opera singers have mastered their professional and artistic basics. Szeged is essential to me, because both the Szeged National Theater and Szeged Open-Air Festival are prominent in my career.

It is always my heartfelt joy to come here, and I can hardly wait for my teaching career to kick off with the admission exams. I can only offer my future students what my closest professors taught me: discipline, patience, progress.

It is my hope that the 2021/2022 academic year will commence nurturing new opera talent free of pandemic, conducting business as usual” – commented Andrea Rost on her post.
