The Classeek Ambassador Program is a selective, one-year career enhancement experience for 7–8 promising young classical musicians, which offers them a new way to help them succeed on their path to a sustainable, top-level performing career. Applications are open until the 11th of February.
The objectives are to find new audiences for the artists, grow their musical networks, and provide coaching on the different elements of a career in musical performance.
Instrumentalists have the opportunity for a solo recital or small chamber performance at the Classeek Concert Hall. Composers recieve a solo or chamber commission, with the opportunity to collaborate with musicians who will perform their work in concert.
Other aspects of the program are available depending on the needs of the artist:
- High quality video recordings for use by the artist;
- Professional photo shoot and filmed interview;
- Masterclass teaching opportunity with students of Classeek’s partner institutions;
- Performance opportunities and industry connections across Europe;
- Opportunities for personal development, including media, PR, project and career coaching via the Classeek network.
How to join the program?
Entry is largely via nomination by one of the Classeek’s Artist Ambassadors. We have to places available to winners for our open application, one for instrumentalists and one for composers. All applicants must be between the ages 18–30. Instrumentalists need to have a Bachelor of Music or equivalent.
