On the first weekend of December, an exciting and not least blood-pumping programme will take place in the Dubniczay Palace in the Veszprém Castle District. On this day, everything will revolve around the genre of flamenco: everyone will be welcomed at performances, dance demonstrations, and dance classes.

The programme will take place on December 2 between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and will be hosted by dancers Andrea Lippai and Zsófia Pirók.
In 2000, Andrea Lippai founded the FlamenCorazónArte Dance Theatre which is the first Hungarian flamenco-based dance theatre in Hungary. Beside the stage of the National Dance Theatre, her all-night performances can be admired in theatres in Hungary and abroad. Her work has been recognised with the Gyula Harangozó Award, the EuroPas Award, the Silver Cross of the Hungarian Republic, and the Hungarian Cross of Merit.
Her eldest daughter, Zsófia Pirók, was the first Hungarian to graduate from Seville’s Professional Dance Conservatory with a degree in flamenco. She performs her own choreography in theaters and tablaos abroad. She is a solo dancer and choreographer of the FlamenCorazonArte Dance Theatre in Hungary. In 2019, she was awarded the title “best dance artist of the season” by the Association of Hungarian Dance Artists.
