A Liszt Ferenc Emlékmúzeum és Kutatóközpont nyolc ország kutatóinak részvételével rendezi meg nemzetközi konferenciáját, amely azzal a céllal jött létre, hogy a különböző intézményekben, országokban működő kutatók közös fórumon tudják átadni egymásnak és a hallgatóságnak a Liszt-kutatás legfrissebb eredményeit, törekvéseit, személyesen is ki tudják cserélni tapasztalataikat, és össze tudják hangolni a Liszt-kutatás jövőbeli céljait.

A kétnapos találkozó során külföldi szakemberek mellett hazai kutatók, elsősorban a Liszt Kutatóközpont munkatársai mutatják be a magyar Liszt-kutatás jelenlegi helyzetét. A konferencianapokat lemez-, illetve könyvbemutató zárja le, az esemény a múzeum soron következő matinékoncertjével, Marouan Benabdallah május 18-i zongorakoncertjével fejeződik be.
